Tarea de Noviembre (6-8)

The Here is your homework for the weekend.... I will also be changing my blog a bit to include new websites and resources along with some recommendations for students who want to do more as well as for parents who would like to be more involved with learning Spanish. Please email me any questions, updates, and especially info/resources/offers to help our community learn and appreciate all facets of the Spanish language and culture.

1st: Practice drawing a calavera because Lunes/Martes will be the días we decorate and having a plan will make your work all the better.
2nd: Similiar to 1sr but with higher expectations and practice writing una buena calavera on your drawing.
3rd and 4th: Write the Día de los Muertos vocabulario 3x in any fashion/style as long as it is your mejor escrito.
5th: Practice writing our 6 uses of the verb ser: to be to help remember the pieces of our anagram "Doctor." Also, find a photo/picture of a person or character and glue on the small card to practice our descriptions en la clase.
6-8th: Práctica los métodos a memorizar los usos de ser y write an example sentence for each one.

Spanish Portfolios

Hey everyone!
Your students (besides those that have already had a conference with me) will be sharing their portfolios (the good, the bad, and the missing) with you. They should do their best (expectations depend on the age) to go over their work, how they feel about Spanish class, and maybe something about what they would like to learn.
Also conference sign up are here Spanish Fall Conferences. If the time and dates (two weeks) do not work for you, we can email/call/meet up at another time. Let me know, and we will see what we can do.

Gracias!
